WELCOME TO MORNINGTON CHURCH OF CHRIST… The online or in-person Neighbourhood Church.
Welcome to our website.
There are a lot of friendly congregations in the Mornington area that feature relevant and user friendly worship services and the Mornington Church of Christ is one of them.
Prior to Easter at our 10 a.m. services we will be featuring how we handle the various emotions that have the capacity to have a negative influence on our well being. How do you cope with guilt, anger, unexpected catastrophes etc? You might be surprised as to how the Bible has some pertinent points regarding these emotional times. Closer to Easter we will also be looking at some of the familiar stories of Jesus and how they impact on our lives.
Ted and Marge Keating, both experienced ordained ministers, will be leading the church for the first part of the year and they would love to meet you.
Sunday Worship Gatherings: Currently 10am
Our small Church has been in Mornington since 1987, not only as a place of worship and nurture for our congregation, but also as a place of service to our local neighbourhood’s. We are a friendly, down-to-earth community, who welcome ALL people with open hearts & minds.
We own three buildings in the surrounds of the Wilsons Road shopping precinct: Our Community Op Shop in the precinct itself, our Neighbourhood Chapel on the corner of Wilsons Road & Pitt Street, and our Community House just around the corner at 18 Pitt Street. Each of these properties serves the needs of our congregation, but they also serve a number of groups in our community who utilize them for their particular activities. If you want to know more about our activities and/or our properties and what they offer, please click on the appropriate links above.
If you are looking for a place of worship & community engagement, please accept this as an open invitation to visit us, either on a Sunday morning, or during the week. We would love to meet you!
