Op-Shop: Calling for Volunteers
It has been lovely seeing new faces emerging, but there is a need for more
wonderful people to become part of this dynamic team.
Winter, illness and life transitions mean that an ongoing robust team is required.
There is a role for everyone. You may even be perfect as part of an emergency on
call backup team.
The op-shop is the tangible face of the church in action and often the first port of
call for pastoral ministry and community care. It is also an enterprise that
financially supports mission and ministry.

Hub Groups: There is a particular delight in cultivating ‘church’ in the home.
Hospitality, prayer, reflection, praise, invitation, and warm conversations are really needed in a world
rediscovering itself in changing times.
If you have a home or a room and a love of the Lord then you have pretty much all the ingredients
needed to form a vital Hub group (Life group, Small group, Grow Group, Micro church). It just needs
your desire and willingness.
Don’t lament the recent Census results on the decline of those declaring and adherence to Christian
faith…instead get active.
Don’t just recite the Lord’s prayer, be the Lord’s prayer.
